World Federation of Advertisers 46th World Congress, 26-28 May, 1999

The WFA 46th World Congress is a biennial event. In 1999 it is due to be held in Seoul,
Korea, only the second time it has been convened in Asia. (India was host in 1993.)

The purposes of the Congress are:
- to forecast the role of new marketing communications in the 21st century, focusing on new media and
- commercial speech
- to conduct case studies on marketing global brands
- to enhance mutual understanding on regional issues
- to cultivate a common awareness of cultural, regional, and other constraints.

The Congress will take place from 26 to 28 May at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul, and promises to be a major and exciting event on the international advertising scene, bringing together many of the leading players, and featuring expert speakers of proven track record and outstanding quality.
